This much greater attention from the Maritime English teachers, practitioners, students of Maritime Academy, researchers in maritime English, maritime institutions, test organizer, maritime industries-shipping companies and company training center as well happens due to some reasons such as the status Maritime English, lack of Maritime English competences of maritime students and alumni, lack of existing learning resources in maritime academy and training center, and the intensive accidents at sea. In particular, it is a fact that the accidents cause a lot of losses of lives, properties, and environmental pollution because of the lack of the crews' competencies technical, managerial, or communicative aspect-Maritime English.
