Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Master dengan Think Pair Share (TPS) dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa di kelas XAKSMK Swasta Krakatau Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014, dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa antara siklus I dan siklus II dengan menerapkan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Master dengan Think Pair Share (TPS).Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Swasta Krakatau Medan yang beralamat Jalan. Brigjen Bejo/ Cemara No. 32 – 34 Medan Kec. Medan Timur.Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X AK yang berjumlah 35 orangdan objek penelitian ini adalah penerapan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Master dengan Think Pair Share (TPS) untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakankelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri 4 tahap yaitu : perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian ini menggunakan objectif test dan lembar observasi aktivitas. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari data kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Berdasarkan hasil pada siklus I diperoleh hasil belajar yaitu 42,85% siswa memenuhi ketuntasan dengan nilai rata-rata 68, akan tetapi belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan yaitu 70%. Oleh karena itu penelitian dilanjutkan ke siklus II. Hasil yang diperoleh di siklus II diperoleh hasil belajar yaitu 91,42% siswa memenuhi ketuntasan dengan nilai rata-rata 81,14 yang berarti telah melampaui indikator keberhasilan dan telah memenuhi kriteria KKM ≥70. sehingga penelitian berhenti di siklus II. Begitu juga dari lembar observasi aktivitas siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 54,29%. Pada siklus I diperoleh hasil 31,42% siswa masuk dalam kategori aktif dan pada siklus II diperoleh hasil 85,71 siswa masuk dalam kategori aktif telah memenuhi kriteria skor ≥ 23 atau 71,87%. Berdasarkan uji signifikan, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara siklus I dan siklus II dimana thitung= 11,13> ttabel=2,0322.Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Master dengan Think Pair Share (TPS) pada materi mencatat dokumen/transaksi ke dalam jurnal khusus dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa di kelas X AK SMK Swasta Krakatau MedanT.P 2013/2014.
