Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XI IPS 2 MAN 1 Medan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Rotating Trio Exchange dengan Strategi Active Learning pada Mata Pelajaran Akuntansi untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas XI IPS 2 MAN 1 Medan Tahun Pelajaran 2014 .Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MAN 1 Medan yang berada di Jalan JL.Williem Iskandar No.7B Medan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 yang berjumlah 32 orang. Penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi aktivitas siswa dan tes hasil belajar yang berbentuk essay. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif.Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dengan indikator yang ditetapkan untuk aktivitas siswa sebesar 71,87%, maka diperoleh hasil pada siklus I sebesar 43,75 % siswa masuk dalam kategori aktif, karena belum mencapai indikator yang ditetapkan maka dilanjutkan pada siklus II dan diperoleh hasil 87,5 % siswa masuk dalam kategori aktif dan sangat aktif. Adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 43,75%. Untuk hasil belajar akuntansi siswa ditetapkan KKM 82. Maka dari hasil tes yang dilakukan pada siklus I diperoleh presentase hasil belajar yaitu 46,87 % akan tetapi belum mencapai indikator hasil belajar yaitu 85%. Oleh karena itu penelitian dilanjutkan ke siklus II. Hasil yang diperoleh di siklus II diperoleh persentase hasil belajar yaitu 87,5 % siswa memenuhi ketuntasan .Dengan demikian terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar sebanyak 40,63% dari siklus I dan II. Dan penelitian berhenti di siklus II karena telah mencapai indikator yang sudah ditetapkan sebesar 85%. Untuk pengujian signifikasi hasil belajar siswa dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik/uji t dengan dk=32-1=31 pada α = 0,05. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh thitung = 4,58 dan ttabel = 2,03. Sehingga thitung > ttabel (4,58 > 2,03). Dengan kata lain peningkatan hasil belajar siswa signifikan sehingga Ha diterima.Jadi dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Rotating Trio Exchange dengan Strategi Active Learning pada Mata Pelajaran Akuntansi materi jurnal penyesuaian dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.
