Abstract

Biology learning outcomes of students who are taught by problem based learning in the type of jigsaw cooperative learning structure (83.0) is better than learning outcomes of students taught by problem based learning (80.22); (2) Biology learning outcomes of students who are taught by problem based learning in the type of jigsaw cooperative learning structure (83.0) is better thanlearning outcomes of students taught with conventional learning (74.44); (3) Biology learning outcomes of students who are taught by problem based learning; (80.22) is better than learning outcomes of students taught with conventional learning (74.44).Thus, it is evident there is a problem-based learning effect in the order type of jigsaw cooperative learning on the results of class X students studying biology in Dharmawangsa private high schools in Medan the lessons year 2009/2010.
