Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XII IPS 1 SMA Swasta Methodist 1 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014 dengan penerapan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction dan Lottery Card.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Swasta Methodist 1 Medan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII IPS 1 dengan jumlah siswa 38 orang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, dimana dalam setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas dan test. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif.Dari hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil aktivitas siswa pada siklus I siswa yang aktif sebesar 36,8% dengan 4 (10,5%) siswa tergolong sangat aktif dan 10 (26,3%) siswa tergolong aktif dan dari hasil belajar siswa terdapat 22 siswa (57,9%) siswa yang tuntas dengan memperoleh nilai ≥70. Karena persentase siswa yang aktif belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan klasikal 71,88% dan ketuntasan belajar siswa juga belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan hasil belajar yaitu 70% maka penelitian ini dilanjutkan ke siklus II. Pada siklus II terdapat 84,2% siswa aktif dengan 15 (39,5%) siswa yang tergolong dalam kriteria sangat aktif dan 17 (44,7%) siswa yang tergolong aktif. Sedangkan dari hasil belajar siswa terdapat 33 siswa (86,8%) yang tuntas. Karena aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi pada siklus II sudah mencapai indikator keberhasilan, maka penelitian tidak perlu dilanjutkan ke siklus berikutnya. Untuk pengujian signifikansi hasil belajar siswa dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik atau uji t dengan dk= 38-1= 37 pada α = 0,05. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh thitung = 12,09 dan ttabel = 2,03. Sehingga thitung > ttabel (12,09 >2,03). Dengan kata lain peningkatan hasil belajar siswa signifikan sehingga Ha diterima.Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction dan Lottery Card pada standart kompetensi memahami penyusunan siklus akuntansi perusahaan dagang di kelas XII IPS 1 SMA Swasta Methodist 1 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014 dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi. Hal ini berarti bahwa penerapan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction dan Lottery Card dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam pembelajaran akuntansi.
