Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa dalam mata pelajaran akuntansi”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan minat belajar dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Reconnecting dengan Modeling The Way kelas XII IS SMA METHODIST 5 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA METHODIST 5 Medan pada semester GANJIL Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014 dengan subjek siswa kelas XII IS yang berjumlah 41 orang siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, dimana dalam setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes untuk melihat hasil belajar akuntansi dan angket untuk mengetahui minat belajar akuntansi siswa. Sedangkan teknik analisis data adalah dengan data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil angket mengenai minat belajar siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hal ini terlihat dari minat belajar siswa pada siklus I terdapat 6 siswa (14,63%) untuk kriteria sangat berminat. Sedangkan pada siklus II terdapat 51,22% siswa tergolong sangat berminat, yang menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan minat siswa. Sedangkan tes hasil belajar siswa yang dilaksanakan, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yaitu pada siklus I terdapat 21 siswa (51,2%) yang tuntas menjadi 35 siswa (85,3%) pada siklus II. Sebagai indikator ketuntasan klasikal ditetapkan 70% siswa memperoleh nilai ≥70. Untuk pengujian signifikansi hasil belajar siswa dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik atau uji t dengan dk= 41-1= 40 pada α = 0,05. Dan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara siklus I dan siklus II dengan diperolehnya nilai thitung = 17,18 dan ttabel = 2,02. Sehingga thitung > ttabel (17,18 >2,02).Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Reconnecting dengan Modeling The Way pada pokok bahasan penyusunan Laporan Keuangan perusahaan Dagang dikelas XII IS METHODIST 5 Medan semester GANJIL Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014 dapat meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa
