Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa dalam mata pelajaran akuntansi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Giving Question and Getting Answer dengan strategi The Power of Two di kelas XII IPS 2 SMA Swasta HKBP 2 Tarutung T.P2013/2014.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Swasta HKBP 2 Tarutung pada semester ganjil Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014 dengan subjek siswa kelas XII IPS 2 yang berjumlah 33 orang siswa. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK)yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dimana setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes untuk melihat hasil belajar akuntansi dan lembar observasi untuk mengetahui aktivitas belajar akuntansi siswa. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yaitu dengan data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif.Dari hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil aktivitas siswa pada siklus I yaitu 6,1% siswa tergolong tidak aktif, 24,2% siswa tergolong kurangaktif, terdapat 45,4% siswa tergolong kriteria cukup aktif dan 24,2% siswa tergolong kriteria aktif. Sedangkan pada siklus II terdapat 6,1% siswa yang tergolong kurang aktif, 9,1% siswa yang tergolong dalam kriteria cukup aktif, 66,6% siswa yang tergolong aktif dan 18,2% siswa yang tergolong sangat aktif yang menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas siswa. Sedangkan tes hasil belajar siswa yang dilaksanakan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yaitu pada siklus I terdapat 19 siswa (57,5%) yang tuntas menjadi 29 siswa (87,8%) pada siklus II.Sebagai indikator ketuntasan klasikal ditetapkan 70% siswa memperoleh nilai ≥70.Untuk pengujian signifikansi hasil belajar siswa dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik atau uji t dengan dk= 33-1= 32 pada α = 0,05. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh thitung = 6,11 dan t tabel = 2,03. Sehingga t hitung > ttabel (6,11 >2,03). Dengan kata lain peningkatan hasil belajar siswa signifikan sehingga Ha diterima.Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Giving Questionand Getting Answer dengan strategi The Power of Two pada pokok bahasan mencatat transaksi ke dalam jurnal khusus di kelas XII IPS 2 SMA Swasta HKBP 2 Tarutung Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014 dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa.
