Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas X-2 SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dengan menerapkan kolaborasi Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation dan Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas X-2 SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012 semester Genap . Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-2 yang berjumlah 36 orang siswa. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil observasi aktivitas belajar siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Dari siklus I siswa yang memiliki criteria aktivitas hanya ada 27,77% yang aktif, 22,22% cukup aktif, 44,44% kurang aktif, dan siswa yang tidak aktif 5,55%. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan siswa yang sangat aktif 22,22%, 30,55% aktif, 41,66% cukup aktif, 5,55% kurang aktif, dan tidak ada lagi siswa yang didapati tidak aktif. Selanjutnya hasil belajar siswa dengan penerapan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Group Investigation dan Snowball Throwing dalam belajar ekonomi diperoleh hasil yang baik dengan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yaitu pretes dengan nilai rata-rata 51,66 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebesar 19,44% sedangkan pada postes siklus I nilai rata-rata mengalami peningkatan menjadi 67,22 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas belajar sebesar 44,44% dan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 81,25 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebesar 83,33%. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus II telah diperoleh ketuntasan aktivitas dan hasil belajar ekonomi. Berdasarkan uraian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan kolaborasi model pembelajaran Group Investigation dan Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas X-2 SMA NEgeri 1 Tanjung Morawa Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012.
