Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari strategi belajar tuntas (mastery learning strategy) terhadap hasil belajar kewirausahaan siswa pada SMK Laksamana Martadinata Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2011/2012. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada SMK Laksamana Martadinata Medan di Jalan Pertempuran No.125 P.Brayan Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X yang terdiri dari 2 kelas dengan jumlah total 84 siswa, kelas X AP1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X AP2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa berbentuk tes pilihan berganda sebanyak 20 item soal. Dari hasil analisis data yang diperoleh, nilai rata-rata pretes siswa kelas eksperimen = 24,76 dengan Standar Deviasi = 10,60 dan nilai rata-rata post tes siswa setelah menggunakan strategi belajar tuntas (mastery learning strategy) = 81,90 dengan Standar Deviasi = 8,26. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata pretes siswa kelas kontrol = 28,69 dengan Standar Deviasi = 10,32 dan nilai post tes siswa = 65,24 dengan Standar Deviasi 10,08. Dari analisis data diperoleh bahwa data hasil belajar berdistribusi normal (Lhitung < Ltabel) dan homogen (Fhitung < Ftabel). Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji t dan diperoleh thitung > ttabel (16,36 > 1,67), yang berarti hipotesis dapat diterima antara variabel X dan Y pada taraf signifikan 95% atau alpha 0,05% dengan dk = N – 2 = 40. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara strategi belajar tuntas (mastery learning strategy) terhadap hasil belajar kewirausahaan siswa pada SMK Laksamana Martadinata Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2011/2012.
