Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaranInkuiri Terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada Materi Fluida Statis di Kelas XISemester II SMAN 1 Selesai T.P. 2014/2015.Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment (eksperimen semu). Populasi dalampenelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas XI Semester II SMA N 1 Selesai yang berjumlah 2 kelasterdiri dari 82 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah sampel total, yaitu kelas XIA1 sebagaikelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing dan kelas XIA2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Instrumenpenelitian ini menggunakan tes pilihan berganda, sebanyak 20 soal yang telah dilakukan ujipersyaratan tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai pretes kelas eksperimen 40,24 dan kelaskontrol 36,95. Pada pengujian normalitas dan homogenitas kedua kelas diperoleh bahwa datakedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Dari hasil uji beda nilai kedua kelas untukpretes diperoleh thitung= 1,38 dan ttabel = 1,99 karena thitung<ttabel, maka dapat dinyatakan bahwakemampuan awal siswa kedua kelas sampel sama. Kemudian diberi perlakuan yaitu kelaseksperimen dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan kelas kontrol denganpembelajaran langsung. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan, dilakukan postes denganhasil nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 75,60 dan kelas kontrol 68,04. Pada pengujiannormalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh bahwa data postes berdistribusi normal dan variansnyahomogen. Berdasarkan hasil uji t satu pihak diperoleh thitung = 3,97 dan ttabel= 1,66 untuk dk =80 dan �= 0,05 sehingga thitung > ttabel dengan demikian ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswadikelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol (Ha diterima) , sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwaada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan modelpembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing kelas XI Semester II SMA Negeri 1 Selesai T.P 2014/2015.
