Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan Self-Efficacy Matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) di Kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Panombeian Panei Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Panombeian Panei dan objek penelitian ini adalah Self-Efficacy siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Accelerated Instruction (TAI).Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah angket, tes dan lembar observasi. Tes digunakan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal yang berkaitan dengan turunan, angket untuk mengetahui peningkatan Self-Efficacy Matematika siswa, dan lembar observasi digunakan untuk melihat proses pembelajaran ketika diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas 2 siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan. Sebelum memberikan tindakan, terlebih dahulu diberikan angket dan tes awal dan setiap akhir siklus diberikan angket dan tes hasil belajar. Dari hasil analisis data tes awal diperoleh banyaknya siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar dari tes awal yaitu 11 dari 32 siswa atau 34,38% dengan rata-rata kelas 61,87 serta hasil angket Self-Efficacy awal dengan rata-rata 56,81%. Hasil analisis data pada siklus I setelah dilakukan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI menunjukkan banyaknya siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar adalah 18 dari 32 siswa atau 56,25% dengan rata-rata kelas 70,62 dan rata-rata angket Self-Efficacy adalah 62,72%. Hasil analisis data akhir siklus II dengan pembelajaran yang sama diperoleh 28 dari 32 siswa atau 87,50% telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar dengan rata-rata kelas 81,09 dan rata-rata angket Self-Efficacy adalah 77,96%. Ini berarti terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I hingga siklus II. Berdasarkan kriteria ketuntasan belajar klasikal maka pembelajaran ini telah mencapai target ketuntasan belajar. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperati tipe TAI dapat meningkatkan Self-Efficacy Matematika siswa di kelas XI IPA1 SMA Negeri 1 Panombeian Panei.
