Abstract

The study aims to describe: (a) how to increase the value of the task and the test results of the general physics I learned through pemanfataan CTL-based learning resources, and (b) determine the relationship value of task-based learning resource utilization of CTL with the test results of study on the subject General Physics Natural Sciences I, Department of Physics, State University of Medan. This type of study is classroom action research conducted by two cycles. The study subjects were students of physical education class C Prodi force 2010/2011 amounted to 36 people who are following a General Physics course. Instruments used: (1) test results to learn, (2) questionnaire / observation format student activity (3) utilization of the task list of learning resources. To analyze the research data used deskripitif statistics (percentages) and inferential statistics (linear regression analysis). The results of this study illustrate that through the use of CTL-based learning resources: (a) there is an increase in the value of duty cycle I to cycle II (84.06%, 84.89%). (b) there is an increase in the value of the test results to learn from cycle I to cycle II (71.92%, 80.14%), (c) in cycle I, there is a significant and linear relationship between the use of task-based learning resources and CTL the test results of studying the general physics I, and the great influence of the use of CTL-based learning resources to learn the test results of the general physics I was at 1.5%, and (d) in the second cycle there is no influence of the use of task-based learning resources for CTL the test results of studying the general physics I, meaning that an increase in the value of the test results of studying the general physics I on the second cycle is not due to the use of task-based learning resources but CTL is influenced by other factors.
