Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe GI (Group Investigation) terhadap hasil belajar fisika pada materi pokok listrik dinamis di SMA Amir Hamzah Medan.Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini adalah Two Group Pretes-Posttes Design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X Semester I SMA Amir Hamzah Medan yang terdiri dari 3 kelas berjumlah 92 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling dengan mengambil 2 kelas dari 3 kelas secara acak yaitu kelas X-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 30 siswa dan kelas X-3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 31 orang. Instrumennya yaitu: Tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan berganda dengan jumlah 20 soal, Penilaian afektif dan Penilaian keterampilan. Uji yang digunakan yaitu Uji t satu pihak. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen 36,83 dengan standar deviasi 8,95, dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol 34,5 dengan standar deviasi 8,54. Pada pengujian normalitas diperoleh pada kelas eksperimen dengan Lhitung = 0,1034 dan Ltabel = 0,1535, untuk kelas kontrol dengan Lhitung = 0,1019, dan Ltabel = 0,1535 sehingga diperoleh Lhitung < Ltabel, maka data kedua kelas berdistribusi normal. Pada uji homogenitas diperoleh Fhitung = 1,097 dan Ftabel = 1,844 sehingga Fhitung < Ftabel, maka kedua sampel berasal dari kelompok yang homogen. Kemudian diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda, kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) dan kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan diperoleh postes dengan hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen 67,33 dengan standar deviasi 8,97 dan kelas kontrol 60,66 dengan standar deviasi 8,87. Hasil uji t diperoleh thitung = 3,01dan ttabel = 1,978, sehingga thitung > ttabel (3,01 >1,978) maka H diterima, dengan demikian diperoleh ada pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) pada materi pokok Listrik Dinamis di SMA Amir Hamzah Medan
