Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara pembuatan nanopartikel Cu2O dengan metode kopresipitasi berdasarkan variasi konsentrasi pengendap NH4OH serta mengetahui sifat optik nanopartikel yang dihasilkan.Metode pembuatan nanopertikel Cu2O menggunakan metode kopresipitasi melalui proses sintesis dengan mencampurkan CuSO4.5H2O dan isopropanol sebagai lautan reagen distirer selama 1,5 jam, larutan pengendap disiapkan dengan variasi konsentrasi (0,5M, 0,75M, 1M) dicampurkan kedalam larutan reagen dalam keadaan penstireran. Hasil penstireran disentrifuse selama 15 menit dengan kecepatan 2000 rpm, kemudian disaring. Lalu endapan yang diperoleh di furnace selama 3 jam suhu 3500C, serbuk yang dihasilkan dikarakterisasi dengan alat XRD untuk mengetahui ukuran serta alat spektrofotometer UV-Vis untuk mengetahui sifat optik nanopartikel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nanopartikel Cu2O memiliki ukuran yang bervariasi berdasarkan pengujian XRD 69,54 nm(0,5M), 61,50 nm(0,75M) dan 58,19 nm(1M) serta sifat optik yang ditunjukan berdasarkan pengujian spektrofotometer UV-Vis nilai absorbansi bahwa pada konsentrasi pengendap 0,5M menyerap cahaya dengan panjang gelombang maksimum sekitar 259 nm pada titik puncak 1,31, konsentrasi pengendap 0,75 M menyerap cahaya panjang gelombang 265 nm dengan titik puncak 1,28 dan 1M menyerap cahaya pada panjang gelombang maksimum sekitar 265 nm dengan titik puncak 1,31 dan nilai transmitansi pada konsentrasi pengendap 0,5M nilai maksimum terdapat pada panjang gelombang 552 nm dengan nilai 56,70%, konsentrasi pengendap 0,75M nilai transmitansi maksimum terdapat pada panjang gelombang 532 nm dengan nilai 65,50%, konsentrasi pengendap 1M nilai transmitansi maksimum terdapat pada panjang gelombang 538 nm dengan nilai 69,30%, lebar pita energi (band gap) yang diperoleh 3,801 eV(0,5M), 4,491 eV(0,75M), dan 4,391 eV(1M). Pengaruh peningkatan variasi konsentrasi pengendap NH4OH menunjukan ukuran partikel semakin kecil, nilai absorbansi secara umum semakin besar, nilai transmitansi semakin besar dan nilai band gap secara umum semakin besar.
