Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui desain rangkaian pencacah digital dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler AT89S51 yang difungsikan sebagai penghitung jumlah mobil pada suatu parkir. Prinsip dari alat ini adalah menampilkan jumlah pengunjung yang berada didalam suatu parkir dengan menggunakan display sevent segment sekaligus dapat membatasi pengunjung dengan membunyikan buzzer jika ruangan penuh.Rangkaian sensor menggunakan photodiode, yang dirangkai sehingga dapat mendeteksi sumber cahaya yang mengenai penampang photodiode ke bentuk energi listrik yang mampu direspon oleh mikrokontroler. Sumber cahaya sebagai receiver menggunakan sinar inframerah yang mengeluarkan cahaya fokus. Terdapat 2 pasang photodiode dan sinar infra merah yang masing-masing berfungsi sebagai pendeteksi pintu masuk dan pintu keluar ruangan. Rangkaian penampil menggunakan 3 digit sevent segment dan mampu menampilkan maksimal 350. rangkaian lampu menggunakan relay sebagai saklar untuk menghidupkan lampu hijau sebagai tanda parkiaran masih bisa dimasuki dan lampu merah sebagai tanda jika parkiran penuh. Dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan, alat ini mampu mendeteksi dan menampilkan jumlah pengunjung yang melewati sensor dengan jumlah cacahan maksimal 350. Nilai pembatas dapat dilakukan dengan memasukkan bahsa assembly kedalam mikrokontroler sesuai yang dikehendaki. Rangkaian lampu akan merah saat nilai pembatas sama dengan jumlah cacahan. jarak antara photodiode dengan inframerah mempengaruhi output tegangan dari photodiode. Photodiode dapat mendeteksi sinar infra merah hingga jarak 60 cm dengan output tegangan 5 volt. Setelah jarak 60 cm photodiode tidak menangkap sinar infra merah dan output tegangan 0 volt.
