IMPLEMENTATION MODEL PEMBELAJARAN HEURISTIK-VEE DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI SISWA PADA MATERI SISTEM REPRODUKSI MANUSIA DI KELAS XI IPA3 SMA NEGERI 7 MEDAN TAHUN PEMBELAJARAN 2012/2013

The objective of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through Heuristic-Vee learning model at the topic of human reproduction system. This research is an action research consisted of 2 cycles, in which each of it had 4 steps as: 1) planning, 2) implementing, 3) observing and 4) reflecting. Each cycle was done twice and used qualitative approach. The subject of this research was class of 40 students, XI Science 3 Senior High School 7 Medan, academic year of 2012/ 2013. The object of this research is implementation of Heuristic-Vee learning model as an effort to improve student learning outcomes on the topic of human reproduction system. Heuristic – Vee learning model selection was based on the characteristic of Heuristic – Vee to combain the knowledge that they already know with their newly learned knowledge or in the other side the students have to find the facts knowledge. Instruments used in this research was test and observation. Test given on this research consisted of 30 multiple choice in which 15 questions were used at each cycle. This research included both individual and group working. Result of this research showed the implementation of Heuristic-Vee learning model in cycle I represented the students learning outcomes with mean was 64,61 include low categories. then in cycle 2 by using the same learning model namely Heuristic-Vee, students learning outcomes had an improvement, with mean 75,40 include enough category Based on this research, can be concluded that the implementation of Heuristic-Vee learning model can improve student learning outcomes at the topic of human reproduction system in class of XI IPA3 SMA Negeri 7 Medan, academic year of 2012/ 2013.
