Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) hasil belajar fisika siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together(NHT), 2) aktivitas siswa selama mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT), 3) perbedaan hasil belajar siswa akibat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Termodinamika di kelas XI semester II SMA Negeri 1 Binjai T.P 2012/2013.Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment dengan desain penelitiantwo group pre-test post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI Semester II yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Sampel penelitian ada 2 kelas (kelas XI-IPA2 dan kelas XI-IPA4) yang diambil secara cluster random sampling. Kelas XI-IPA2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan pada kelas XI-IPA4 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan sampel masing
